For those seeking new inspiration on the possibilities of conventional 2-way technology, or those looking to get their kicks on Route 66, we suggest you check out the Southwest Community Radio System (SWCRS).
It’s the largest simulcast repeater system in the United States and covers thousands of miles in America’s beautiful southwest. One of its officers recently bought some repeaters from us to expand coverage in southern New Mexico, and that’s how we learned of this impressive collaboration.
As an Oppenheimer fan and history buff, I’m planning a road trip to Los Alamos later this year. I’ll definitely be plugging into SWCRS’s system.
Kudos to the SWCRS for pulling off a truly amazing feat!

P.S. For those that might be too young to understand the Route 66 reference, it's a famous highway that passes through SWCRS's area. :)
